I recently acquired an old Raleigh 3 speed (from the 70's?) and right now I'm taking it apart to give it a good cleanup. It has cottered cranks and I'm having a ton of trouble removing one of the cotters. I tried knocking it out with a hammer but now the threaded side is beaten down and a little bent. According to the internet I should use a big ol' c clamp and a bit of pipe to press it out.

If anyone can offer advice or lend me a large c clamp I'd really appreciate it!
